TRX Suspension Training is a leveraged body-weight exercise using a suspension system.  TRX is the perfect system for engaging your core while training using specific functional movements.

The majority of movements used in life consist of movements in more than one plane.  Traditional weight lifting typically limits the body's natural movements, whereas utilizing TRX Suspension Training exercises, every muscle in the body is strengthened.  The core is engaged during all exercises and movements, resulting in a strong midsection, which will reduce injury when participating in sports, and/or in everyday life.  TRX Suspension Training can be a simple solution for strength training, with a hard workout lasting only 45 minutes.

I have taken TRX classes before and actually own a TRX myself, so I wasn't exactly a rookie when I attended one of the suspension training classes at TEPC. The class was very non-threatening and beginner friendly with instructor Jill taking the time to make sure everyone felt comfortable and was doing the exercises correctly. TRX is awesome for multisport athletes and Jill's class was a great way to do functional strength training in a fun, social environment. I plan to put this class on my regular schedule!  --Gail

Just wanted to let you know that I really enjoyed your class yesterday!  It's exactly what I've been looking for, a total body workout.  Normally I don't get sore until 2 days after a good workout.  I have to say that I'm already sore today!!  I will be back for another class. --Emily

I have been doing TRX training for 2 months now with Jill and have seen significant improvement in my swim time..I have always done some form of strength training over the years but nothing has helped my speed as quickly as TRX..It uses your own body weight to get you stronger!
